1. Find your license key:
- In the app: Open the app, go to the “Licensing” section, and copy your key.
- On the website:
- Go to my.kaspersky.com
- Click the “Subscriptions” tab.
- Select your Kaspersky product.
- Click “Additional info” to find your key.
2. Check for a free upgrade:
- Go to the Renewal Center (link on their website).
- Enter your license key.
- If you see a message saying “You have X days remaining,” you’re eligible for a free upgrade!
What’s the difference between an activation code and a license key?
- Activation code: 20 digits (like XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX). You get this when you first buy Kaspersky. It’s used once to activate your license.
- License key: 32 characters and digits (like XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX). You can find this in your Kaspersky app after activation. Use it to recover your activation code or renew at a discount.
Where can I find my old activation code?
- Check your email (if you bought online).
- Look on the card or box (if you bought it from a store).
